Home visits can be arranged for patients who are disabled or too ill to attend the practice. Please ring or email to enquire.
Pilates courses are run in termly blocks of 5, 6 or 7 weeks, approximately following the school term times. New clients can join a class by undertaking a 1:1 Pilates session with a Physiotherapist. This is to ensure their suitability to a class, that they understand the ‘principles’ and can do a baseline of exercise prior to joining an existing class.
A newsletter is sent out approximately 2 weeks before the end of each term informing the client of the new term dates. Advanced payment is required to secure a place in the next term, ‘Drop in’ sessions are available subject to space.
Refunds are not given for missed classes, but where possible an alternative class to catch up will be offered. The cost of a missed class cannot be used against other treatment sessions within the practice.
If due to unforeseen circumstances the class has to be cancelled, as much notice as possible will be given. A replacement session would be offered or the client will be credited towards the next term.
See our Pilates class schedule here.

Other treatments such as Acupuncture may also be covered by your health insurance. Please contact your provider for more information. However, we are only able to claim directly for physiotherapy treatment.
Patients should contact their insurance company to find out how to claim on their individual scheme. Policies may differ with respect to the allowances and excess.
Very few health insurance companies cover the cost of orthotics. Please contact your insurance company prior to your visit to ask whether they will cover your required service.
Patients attending treatment sessions may bring along a friend or relative to act as a chaperone.
